PES 2016 merupakan seri ke-15 Pro Evolution Soccer dan telah diluncurkan pada bulan September 2015. Bagi PES 2016, Konami telah mendapat lisensi penuh untuk team yang akan bertanding dalam UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, AFC Champions League, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, La Liga BBVA, Liga Adelante, LFP Ligue 1, LFP Ligue 2, Dutch Eredivisie, Seria A, Primera División Argentina, Brasileirão. Kekurangan utama PES adalah tidak mendapat lisensi bagi semua liga,stadium dan lain-lain. Namun, kekurangan ini bisa diatasi dengan install patch yang bisa di download secara gratis alias free. Patch terbaik untuk PES 2016 (PC) ialah dari PTE Team yang juga mengeluarkan patch terbaru untuk seri game Pro Evolution Soccer sebelum ini.
